Incumbent to be challenged in Senate District 33

Sen. Irma Hunter Brown will be challenged in the 2008 Democratic primary by former State Representative and House Education Committee Chair Joyce Elliott. Senator Brown became the first African-American woman elected to the Arkansas House of Representatives and served from 1980 to 1998. She is the first African-American woman to serve in the history of the Arkansas Senate. Elliott was twice chosen as a Top 10 legislator by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. Here's a map of the district:

Need to add a section for Senate Races like you have for House Races especially open seats like Bisbee, Critcher, Argue, and Hill.

Good idea. I'll squeeze in an extra button at the top this weekend.
